17th Annual Clean-Up Day
Saturday, April 28, 2018
Clean-Up Day is April 28th from 8AM to 4PM
Bring unwanted household debris to Firestone Public Works @ 7500 Pine Cone Ave (WCR 20). Please NO COMMERCIAL WASTE, residential only. Truckloads containing loose materials and/or debris must be covered. Town staff will be available to help unload for those unable to do so themselves. In addition, Firestone Town officials will be present throughout the day.
*In the event of inclement weather, Clean-up Day will be rescheduled-information will be posted on Town website.
Items Accepted
Household items accepted in the cleanup include barbecue grills, bicycles, cabinets, chain link fences, concrete, doors, furniture, hot tubs, lumber, mattresses/box springs, microwaves, patio furniture, shrubs, steel, stoves, tree branches, washers/dryers, water heaters, yard equipment, yard waste, miscellaneous household debris.
Residents will be asked to separate tree limbs, wood and steel when unloading.
Items NOT Accepted
NO tires of any kind
NO refrigerators, freezers, 55-gallon drums, electronics, TV's, computer monitors and towers, semi-truck or tractor tires.
NO HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE - The Town of Firestone can NO longer accept household hazardous waste, which includes flammable materials, paint, latex and related materials, oil, antifreeze and other car products, toxic material, batteries, aerosol, acids, bases, oxidizers and unknowns. Weld County residents can dispose of these items free of charge year-round at 5500 Highway 52 in Dacono on Fridays, and the first and third Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 970-304-6415, ext. 2233.
Bring Proof of Residency
Firestone residents will be asked to provide proof of residency, either with a water bill statement or other proof of address. Town staff will be available to help unload items for those people who are unable to do so themselves. For more information, call 303-833-3544.
