Cultural Committee

The Town of Firestone Board of Trustees is planning to restructure and reorganize the 
Cultural Committee and provide this advisory board with goals and a clear focus.

The Cultural Committee serves as an advisory group to the Board of Trustees on arts and cultural opportunities. The committee recommends methods for maintaining and increasing artistic and cultural resources and encourages and promotes programs for the enrichment of culture in Firestone. The committee also provides advice and recommendations with respect to the planning of the Town’s annual events. 

The Cultural Committee consists of up to 7 residents of the Town, 2 Trustees, and an appointed staff member. The Trustees and residents are appointed at a Board of Trustees meeting for a two-year term. 

Mission

To facilitate and enrich the culture of Firestone by recommending methods for increasing the arts and culture that enhances the livability and the economic vitality of the community.
