Halloween Safe Night
19th Annual Firestone Police Department Halloween Safe Night
- Friday, October 30, 2020, 5 to 8 p.m.
- Firestone Regional Sports Complex, 6850 Tilbury Ave.
About the Event
Much like the rest of 2020, Halloween Safe Night will look a little different this year, but the Firestone Police Department is still excited to celebrate with the community.
Below are details on what the Town of Firestone will be doing to help ensure a safe and enjoyable event. We ask that everyone review the details below. The Town continues to encourage everyone to use safe social distancing, and practice other precautions to help the spread of COVID-19 that have been recommended by the CDC, State of Colorado and Weld County.
While we will miss the traditional trunk-or-treat, the train and the other fun Halloween activities, we hope the community understands the need to ensure all guidelines from the State of Colorado and Weld County are being followed. If you have any questions about the event, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parking & Entrance
The parking lot will open at 5:00 p.m. All traffic must enter the parking lot off of Firestone Boulevard. The entrance and exits of the parking lots will be clearly marked. Please follow the parking attendants once in the lots.
After parking, all attendees will follow signage to the entrance of the event. In accordance with State guidelines, there will only be one entrance and one exit to the event to encourage “one-way” pedestrian traffic. Additionally, there will be a limited number of people who can be on each field at a time. There will be attendants at the entrance and exit of each field that will keep track of the number of attendees. Should the limit be reached, the line will be stopped at the entrance to allow for people to exit the event before allowing any further people in.
At the entrance of the event, the first 700 children will receive a pre-filled bag of candy
BOO-ths & Activities
Once in the event, attendees will be able to visit BOO-ths of local businesses. There will not be any “trick-or-treating” at the BOO-ths, but most will be decorated and have activities for the family. On both Fields 1 and 2, there will be many great decorations to look at and excellent photo opportunities.
Field 3 will have a DJ and is a great space for families to spread out and dance, have a bite to eat and enjoy the event.
After exiting Field 2, attendees can visit the food trucks that will be in attendance. All food trucks encourage contactless ordering and paying through online and phone services.
Volunteering offers a great deal of satisfaction, and a chance to give back to the community.
