Disaster Preparedness Training & Open House
Learn What You Can Do To Be Ready For The Next Disaster
In light of the recent fire in Boulder County and disaster-related questions from the community, Carbon Valley Emergency Management Agency (CVEMA) is hosting two free disaster preparedness training and open houses for the public. CVEMA will present a one-hour training on the basics of disaster preparedness and discuss disaster recovery, exploring how we can work together to be a resilient community. Representatives from local first responder agencies, including the Firestone Police Department, will be on hand to answer questions and provide more information about disaster, fire, and life safety. The same information will be presented at both sessions.
