Mill & Overlay Paving Project
Begins June 1st

Beginning on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, Brannan Sand & Gravel Co. will begin a mill and overlay treatment to the intersection of Firestone Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard. The work will include a 2" mill and overlay of Firestone Boulevard from Oak Meadows Boulevard to Cimarron Street, both east and westbound lanes, and a 2" mill and overlay of Colorado Boulevard from Cimarron Street to Oak Meadows Boulevard, both north and southbound lanes. It will also include restriping and replacement of thermoplastic markings in that area.

Weather permitting, regular work hours will be from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Friday night work is possible. This work should take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete.

This past week, Brannan Sand & Gravel visited businesses and residents in the work area that will be directly impacted by this project to share detailed information and deliver a Notice of Construction. 

Motorists are urged to pay close attention to those working in the area, abide by all posted traffic control signs, and reduce speeds in the work zone.
