Colorado Boulevard Lane Closures near Ronald Reagan Boulevard

On Monday, July 31, 2023, Nelson Pipeline will begin crossing Colorado Boulevard as part of the offsite construction of the sanitary sewer main for the Barefoot Lakes project. This work will be near the intersection of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard.

A bypass road with flaggers will be used in this area to ensure traffic can continue moving while the work is done. The contractors will begin on the northbound lane and then move to the southbound lane. In addition to the bypass road with flaggers, there may be intermittent lane closures. Work hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Both lanes of traffic will be open outside of those hours. This work is expected to take one week but is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen issues.

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention while traveling through this work area and be prepared for slight delays. Please abide by all posted traffic control signs, and if possible, avoid the work area.
