Election Update: 

Ballots Have Been Mailed


The Town of Firestone Clerk's Office has received confirmation that ballots have been mailed! They are being sent from Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is anticipated that they will start to arrive in mailboxes in 5-7 days. 

Once received, Firestone voters have 3 ways to turn in their ballots: 

  • MAIL IT: Include proper postage of a first-class or forever stamp on the provided envelope and mail it.  If you have not mailed your ballot by Tuesday, March 26th, we encourage you to drop it off or bring it in. 
  • DROP IT OFF: Save a stamp and drop it off at the 24-hour election drop-box inside the front doors at Town Hall at 9950 Park Ave, Firestone, CO, or at the ballot drop-off box at the Weld County Southwest Service Complex at 4209 County Road 24.5, Firestone, CO. 
  • BRING IT IN: Bring your ballot to Town Hall during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and on Election Day, April 2nd, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. 

Ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Registered voters who do not receive a ballot in the mail may request a replacement from the Town Clerk's Office.

Voter Service Center

The Firestone Town Clerk's office is open as the Voter Service Center and is available to register eligible voters, provide ballot replacements and is open for ballot drop-off. The Town of Firestone Town Clerk's office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Election Day, April 2nd, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Town Clerk's office is located at Town Hall, 9550 Park Avenue.

Voter Registration Information

To register to vote, you must be: 

  • A United States Citizen
  • Be 18 years old on or before the date of the election
  • Reside in Colorado and in the municipal election precinct for at least 22 days before the election

Eligible residents can come to the Voter Service Center to register and receive a ballot. Or, voters can register online at www.govotecolorado.gov. If a voter registers online after ballots have been mailed out, they will need to come in person to the Voter Service Center to receive their ballot.
