Town Clerk Swearing InDuring Wednesday night's meeting, Firestone Municipal Judge Stephen A. Jones swore in Miriam Luna Gonzalez as the Town Clerk. For the past six months, Mrs. Gonzalez has served as the Interim Town Clerk and has overseen the daily functions of the Town Clerk's office, including conducting the most recent Municipal Election in April.

Trustee AppointmentDuring Wednesday night's meeting, the Board of Trustees appointed Sean Doherty to the vacant Trustee position created by Mayor Conyac's election. Trustee Doherty will serve a two-year term, expiring in April of 2026. On the morning of Thursday, July 13, 2024, Sean Doherty was sworn in by Firestone Municipal Judge Stephen A. Jones.

Frontier Estates Items Continued- A Public Hearing for Resolution 24-47, a Preliminary Plat for Frontier Estates Filing 2, was opened during the May 8, 2024 Board meeting and continued to the June 12, 2024 meeting. During Wednesday night's meeting, at the applicant's request, this hearing was continued again to the July 24, 2024 Board of Trustees Meeting. Filing 2 is approximately 39 acres in size and is located on the west side of Frontier Street between Sable Avenue and Pine Cone Avenue. The proposed preliminary plat includes 189 total lots of single-family detached units.
- A Public Hearing for Resolution 24-48, seeking approval of the Service Plan for Frontier Estates Metropolitan District, was opened during the May 8, 2024, meeting and continued to the June 12, 2024, meeting. During Wednesday night's meeting, this hearing was continued again, at the applicant's request, to the August 14, 2024 Board of Trustees Meeting.
- Resolution 24-51, a Native Water Credit Purchase Agreement for the Frontier Estates development, was moved to the July 24, 2024 Board of Trustees Meeting.
