  • At 6:00 p.m., Sugar Britches takes the stage with a blend of mischievous lyrics, rocking honky-tonk, and great times for all!

  • Fireworks show begins around 9:30 p.m. and will be shot off just north of the 15th hole on the Saddleback Golf Course.
  • We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Bohemian Foundation for their generous grant, which supports the local live music at the event. Additionally, we are grateful to our main stage sponsor, The Jenny Hart Team!

WEATHER

The 4th at Firestone event is rain or shine unless the weather is dangerous, such as high winds, lightning, or hail. If the weather turns dangerous, Miners Park will be evacuated. If the threatening weather moves away from the area, the park will reopen.

  • The scheduled start time for the fireworks display is 9:30 p.m. Fireworks may be delayed or begin early to avoid dangerous weather conditions. If they are not shot by 10 p.m. on July 4, then the fireworks will not go off that night and may be rescheduled for another night.
  • The Frederick-Firestone Fire Protection District (FFFPD), specifically the Fire Chief, is the responsible authority for issuing or rescinding the fireworks display permit. In the event of a potentially severe or extreme weather condition, public safety officials, in conjunction with emergency management, will assess the situation and make an informed decision regarding the continuation or cancellation of the display. This decision prioritizes public safety and mitigating potential risks from adverse weather conditions.
  • Any event schedule changes will be announced at the park, posted on social media, and online at www.firestoneco.gov/4thatFirestone.
