Historic Firestone Waterline & Roadway Replacement Project Update

Beginning Wednesday, August 21, 2024, through Friday, August 23, 2024, First Street between Florence Avenue and McClure Avenue will be closed for waterline and fire hydrant construction. Residents impacted by the closure along First Street will continue to access their properties and receive a door hanger with more information. 

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention while traveling through these work areas and be prepared for slight delays. Please abide by all posted traffic control signs, be aware of detours, and reduce speeds in the work zone.

Representatives from DeFalco Construction and the Town of Firestone will be onsite during this work to answer any questions.
