Irrigation Updates at Stoneridge Park

Starting Monday, April 14, 2025, the Town of Firestone Parks staff will be increasing the size of the water tap that supplies the irrigation system at Stoneridge Park. This work will temporarily disrupt water service for a small section of residents for 3-4 hours during the day. A door hanger with more information will be provided to affected residents.

Work is expected to begin around 8:00 a.m., and the road and sidewalk will be closed during this time, with detour routes clearly posted.

This project aims to enhance the efficiency and operation of the irrigation system. Currently, the system operates for about 11 hours each day to ensure the grass receives the necessary water. With this tap increase, Parks staff anticipate that this duration will be reduced to approximately half.
