Thank You for Celebrating Building Safety Month with Us!
As we wrap up the final week of Building Safety Month, we want to thank you for following along and taking the time to learn more about the vital work our Building Division does here in Firestone.
The building safety industry is ever-evolving, with new trends, technologies, and safety regulations emerging constantly. Our team is committed to continuous learning so we can better serve and protect the Firestone community. Already this year, staff attended the International Code Council Institute in Loveland, our Electrical Inspectors attended the IAEI Conference in Northglenn, and we have held several in-house training classes.
Whether you're a resident or a business owner, we encourage you to reach out to the Building Division before starting any improvement projects. We’re here to help you understand when permits are required and to provide guidance every step of the way.
Have questions? Call us at 303-833-3291 or email us at building@firestoneco.gov.
The Town of Firestone celebrates Building Safety Month during May. Over the next month, we will share tips and resources for the community to learn about indoor and outdoor safety for their homes or businesses.
In Firestone, the Building Division provides services to individuals planning property improvements by reviewing construction plans, issuing permits, performing inspections, and enforcing ordinances that ensure safe buildings and a healthy environment. The division also manages the licensing of contractors and trades.
