Frontier Street Closure Postponed 

The work related to the Frontier Street closure for the Frontier Estates subdivision has been postponed until a later date. The road and trail closures will not begin on Monday, August 25, as originally planned.  When more details about the updated work schedule are available, they will be shared with the community.  

Sent August 18, 2025: Beginning Monday, August 25, 2025, Frontier Street (CR 15) will be closed for road improvements between Sable Avenue and Pine Cone Avenue. This work is part of the development of the Frontier Estates subdivision. Barring any unforeseen issues and weather permitting, this closure is expected to last through mid-October 2025.

This closure will affect only through traffic on Frontier Street between Sable Avenue and Pine Cone Avenue. Local traffic and residents can still reach their destinations, but might need to take a detour until the work is finished. Also, please know that the regional trail will be closed in the work zone area.

The main detour routes will use Sable Avenue (CR 22) and Pine Cone Avenue (CR 20). Signage will be in place along the detour route to help direct travelers. 

Motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists are urged to pay close attention to detour and traffic control signs and, if possible, avoid this section of Frontier Street altogether.
