Snow Removal Operations

Snow in Firestone!

We finally had our first snow event of the season! Over the past few weeks, Town staff have been busy preparing equipment and crews for winter weather—and we were ready.

As with all storms, staff have been closely monitoring the weather and road conditions, deploying plow crews as needed. Crews have been out since early this morning, and we estimate that Firestone has received approximately 3” of wet snow.

Keep in mind that with temperatures expected to remain low, any wet road surfaces may become icy. Our crews will continue to monitor conditions and address trouble spots, especially at intersections, as needed.

As we move through the wet winter months, please use caution while driving. Give yourself extra time, slow down, and arrive safely at your destination.
