New Street Signs in
Historic Firestone
Share Your Feedback
The Town of Firestone Streets Division is updating all street signs across the community to ensure they meet current safety, visibility, and maintenance standards. As part of this effort, the street signs in the Historic Firestone neighborhood are scheduled for replacement this year. These signs are approximately 12 years old and no longer meet today’s requirements for reflectivity, visibility, and durability.
Currently, the neighborhood features separate crescent-shaped toppers that read “Historic Firestone.” Moving forward, this design will be incorporated directly into the main street sign. This approach improves long-term durability, reduces maintenance needs, and provides an estimated 25% cost savings.
We want your input!
Before finalizing the new design, we’d love to hear which option you prefer. Please share your feedback by completing the short survey linked below. The survey will remain open through Wednesday, February 25.
As a thank-you, those who complete the survey can request one of the original “Historic Firestone” crescent toppers once they are removed. Just include your name and email address in the survey to be added to the list. Signs will be distributed in the order in which the surveys are completed. We’ll reach out later to confirm and coordinate pickup.
