Activity Notice from Crestone Peak Resources

Crestone Peak Resources has notified the Town of Firestone that they anticipate beginning drilling operations at the Bighorn 17H-P267 well pad soon.  This well pad is located north of Weld County Road 20, between Frontier Street and Weld County Road 19.  Crestone has provided a detailed overview of practices and operations throughout the life of a well that includes dates and expected timing of this activity.  View the activity notice here.

• Phase One - to begin Mid-January: Drilling the 19 Bighorn wells (approximately 10 days per well, 24/7 operations).
  
  
• Phase Two - to begin in May: Completing the wells (approximately seven days per well, 24/7 operations).
  
  
• Phase Three: Production & Reclamation (averages 20-30 days for production; reclamation times vary greatly).
