The Highplains Library system provides free access to various business resources. With a library card, you can access 24 hours a day databases such as D&B Key Business Ratios, Business Source Premier, and Reference USA to learn about competitors and industries; training programs for software, technology, and creative skills; Colorado Grants Guide to find funding resources; and various business news services.

The MDEDC brings together 70 cities, counties, and economic development agencies in the nine-county Metro Denver and Northern Colorado area. Its mission is to enhance the regional economy by expanding and retaining primary jobs and capital investment. MDEDC offers personal site search assistance, specialized data services, site tours, incentive assistance, and more.

Upstate Colorado EDC
Upstate Colorado Economic Development is a public/private non-profit economic development corporation that provides services to all of Weld County. Its focus is to support primary industry and employment diversity. Upstate partners with the Town of Firestone to assist with attracting, retaining, and expanding primary employment companies. This agency provides assistance with building and site searches, advocacy at all levels of government, data research, and incentive assistance at the County and State levels. Upstate is the administrative agency for the Enterprise Zone program for all of Weld County.
