While the work is being completed, motorists should expect intermittent lane closures and traffic delays. Everyone in the area is urged to pay close attention to closure signs and avoid the work area if possible.
During the Board of Trustees meeting on May 12 the Board of Trustees and Mrs. Betty Heath recognized two students from Firestone for the George E. Heath Community Scholarship.

The Firestone Police Department is investigating a possible attempted child abduction, reported having occurred in the area of Timberline Avenue and Aspen Street in Firestone at approximately 7:00 a.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021.
At the end of April, the Town of Firestone issued a building permit to the Firestone King Soopers to expand their current building. Town staff has been working with King Soopers since March of 2020 to secure this expansion project.
