[ARCHIVED] Small Business Resources & Assistance: A Message from Mayor Sindelar

Spotlight_storefront

As Mayor, I know that the Board of Trustees is committed to supporting local businesses during this unprecedented time. We know that many businesses have been hit hard by mandatory closures and safety measures required to slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Because of this, we have compiled resources and relief programs for you to turn to.

We hope you find this helpful. Thank you for your continued support. It is an honor to be your Mayor.

- Bobbi Sindelar

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
The SBA offers low-interest federal disaster loans to small businesses in designated areas suffering economic injury as a result of the Coronavirus. The SBA is encouraging businesses to complete the application for the U.S. SBA Disaster Loan.  The SBA website is experiencing a significant amount of visits and at times is unavailable. The SBA is recommending that businesses access the site between the hours of 7 pm and 7 am, especially if trying to complete the online application for a business loan.

To assist you with preparing to complete the necessary online forms or to complete the forms in paper the Town of Firestone has obtained the required forms. You may fax the completed forms to 202-481-1505, email the completed forms to ela.doc@sba.gov or mail the completed forms to U.S. Small Business Administration Processing & Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.
