[ARCHIVED] Firestone to Host Cleanup Day Sept. 21 for Residents to Clean up After the Flood

The Town of Firestone will host a Flood Cleanup Day next Saturday, Sept. 21 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Firestone Public Works Facility, 7500 Pine Cone Ave. (WCR 20). This cleanup effort is for Firestone residents only, who must show proof of residency, to dispose of debris from the flood only that has hit the community. No chemicals will be accepted.

“We really just want to be able to help our residents get cleaned up from this disaster and provide them we the resources we have,” said Mayor Chad Auer.

The Town of Firestone continues to update residents on the flood waters and road closures on its website, Facebook, Twitter and additional social media sources, as well as additional Blackboard Connect messages delivered to residents.
