[ARCHIVED] Newly Launched Firestone Website Offers Engage With Firestone Connection

Engage With Firestone

New Feature Encourages Individuals to Share Comments, Suggestions to Help Shape Firestone

Firestone residents and business owners can now engage with the town through a new feature called Engage with Firestone on the town’s recently redeveloped website. This new communication tool offers an open forum to allow individuals to submit ideas and engage in discussions about ideas that will help shape the future of Firestone.

As Firestone moves forward on making plans for its future, residents have the opportunity to become a part of the process and become engaged with town leaders. The Firestone Board of Trustees and town staff welcomes input from its residents and business owners on topics including community, parks, economic development, housing, transportation and more. Contributors to the Engage With Firestone feature can share new ideas, expand on previous ideas and provide feedback on initiatives.

“The Engage with Firestone feature is the perfect opportunity for our residents to become civically engaged with the Firestone community as we plan to our future,” said Mayor Chad Auer. “Attending a board meeting may not always be an option for our residents, but with our new website feature residents can come forth and provide ideas and engage in discussions to be a part of the process at any time.”

Current initiatives include:
• Central Park Ideas: As the Town of Firestone continues to plan for its Central Park, what ideas do you hope to see included?• Community Activity Ideas: What type of things do you want to see in our community? What type of events do you want to take part in?
• Retail & Economic Development: Firestone continues to work with numerous businesses to come to our community, including sit down restaurants. What would you like to see? • Housing & Neighborhoods
• Share Your Ideas: An open discussion for individuals to post suggestions that don’t fall under other categories.

To get started, individuals will need to create a profile through the My Dashboard feature at the top of the website page at With an account individuals can see their own activity, respond to ideas and create new ideas.
