The Town of Firestone is committed to communicating Town news and information internally and externally in a timely, cohesive and proactive manner, so that community members are well informed and able to access information pertaining to the Town.

Goals

  • To provide useful information to Firestone residents about the Town government.
  • To facilitate resident input and feedback concerning the programs and policies of the Town government to aid in the decision-making processes of the Town.
  • To encourage resident involvement and participation in government and community activities.
  • To support the Board of Trustees and administration in achieving overall goals and specific community programs.

The Town of Firestone strives to provide effective, proactive communications to the Firestone community with a goal of increasing citizen understanding and awareness of, and participation in, Town government. In the ever-changing communications landscape, the Town recognizes that residents and businesses are overloaded with information. We want to understand your communication preferences and support effective citizen engagement. Public Meetings
The Firestone Board of Trustees and various other Town boards, commissions and committees serve to represent the residents of Firestone. They receive feedback on a variety of topics, develop and adopt policy, and resolve public issues. All public meetings can be found on the Town calendar.
